Hey Everybody!
Welcome to June!

And...
Welcome to my newly re-named blog!
Ya like? No? Well thats too dang bad.
Check out my About Me page if ya have any questions.

Wow, okay I haven't done a favorites since, what, February!? I am slack-a-lacking'. Well, May has flown by and since it is definitely my favorite month of the year (being my birthday month) I've found a few new loves and wanted to share them with you!
So, here we go!

1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I know I've definitely jumped on the bandwagon with this one a bit late, but hey, better late than never! Right about when the movie was beginning to be advertised, I had purchased this and the sequel and completely forgot about it. Once the movie became a bit more popular on tv, I decided to whip it out. And I'll tell you what, I LOVE THIS BOOK! I could not put it down. Any chance I had to read it, I did. I became so emotionally invested in it, I didn't want it to end.
I won't spoil anything for those of you who haven't read it yet, but holy balls did I ugly sob. SOB!

2. Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color
If I hadn't known about these from one of Zoella's videos I would've totally passed them by. But honestly, I am so glad I picked up a couple of these from Target (doesn't hurt that I got a $5 gift card with the purchase). First off, they smell fantastic! Like a watermelon cupcake! The formula is so nice, they go on so smoothly and last all day (and I'm not kidding about that one, I 'accidentally' left my makeup on overnight, and it was still on in the morning). I know a few people don't like that it isn't 100% matte, but it's matte enough for me and I love them! (My favorite is 'Seduction)

3. Julep Nail Color- LuLu
I received my first box from Julep for my birthday (because I got it for free :) And honestly, if it wasn't a tad bit too expensive for me, I'd probably subscribe. This color, LuLu, is too cute! And I love the 'soft focus finish' as it's a bit different from the usual mega shine. My Julep box also came with my May birthstone color and a charcoal konjac sponge. Overall I would have to say that all of the products are very nice quality, and if you can afford it, I suggest trying it out!

4. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I'm pretty sure I had put this in one of my previous monthly favorites, but I never actually finished it. And this month, I did! It took me a little bit to get into this book but once I did, I couldn't put it down!  The main character, Cather (odd name, I know, once you'll read you'll understand) is a freshman in college and is being separated from her twin sister, Wren, and is having a hard time adjusting. She has a bit of home troubles with her father, who is one of my favorite characters, really gets herself into a few different uncomfortable situations, and meets and falls for someone unexpected. While reading, I couldn't get the image of one of my late friends, Alex (Lex), out of my mind when the character of Levi (man above) came up. Honestly, I feel like he was watching me read the book. Lex, if you see this, thank you for being there with me for the premier of Deathly Hallows and calming me down when I freaked out that it was the end and cried. Never told you, but I love you, man. Miss you.

5. Xhiliration Floral Romper and Mossimo Supply Co. Peach Romper
I bought both of these as a birthday present to myself (can never have too many of those, right?) and I absolutely love them! The black one has pockets! What more do I have to say about that? Its super light weight and comfortable. A bit short, but eh, its summer. $24.99 at Target. The pale pink one is super super comfortable. I wore it on my birthday, and the day after to dinner (if nobody saw, it doesn't count). Also $24.99 at Target. Even though rompers aren't the most practical for everyday use, as you have to take the whole thing off to go to the bathroom unless you're a skilled pee-er and can maneuver it without taking it all off (I envy you) I still think they're super cute!

Aaaaaaand thats about it!
What have you all been loving lately?
Hope your May has been good, and your June is even better!

xoxo
