I am a girlfriend to Travis, dog mom to Archie, a lover of books, a mediocre fashionista, and an obvious child at heart.
I started this blog as a place to show off (flaunt it if you got it, right?) my art and to keep myself motivated during the summer months. I'm definitely the type of person that needs some sort of strong motive or nothingproductive gets done.
My blog name (which recently changed!) comes from my childhood nickname from my cousins. Maya the Bee was a tv show from the 90's (which I've honestly never watched) and I thought it was just perfect for my blog name.
Here, I'll show you all of the little bits that make up my favorite things such as art, books, music, and home improvement and decor.
I also use this as my personal diary to show you (but mostly, myself) how my life improves little by little, everyday.
